A love of Landscape

Sometimes curses are blessings.

New Year’s Day turned out not to be the fresh start I had hoped for this year. A skiing accident and subsequent surgery left me unable to walk, far from the mountains I love.

But… I did have time to paint!

This time inspired a new series of paintings, although I could not walk the fells I love so much I have spent the last few months capturing them in watercolour – and wandering them in my mind.

“Scout Scar” has just been accepted into the Brewery Open Exhibition in Kendal which will be running Summer 2025.
